It's been a busy week, so I haven't done much in the way of actual work on this project. I have been slowly working out the details of how I want the battle systems to function mechanically and have implemented and removed a few ideas for testing. Hopefully, I will be able to start actual work soon once I solidify my ideas.


I have also been sketching ideas out for a theme song. Whether the song remains as that later will depend on the final direction and style of the game, but I thought it would be good to get some ideas down and slowly try to create the aesthetics in parallel with the mechanics. It may end up scrapped entirely, but it has helped to keep me thinking about the game while I'm not making much progress on the programming side.
